over the weekend...

made this pizza, as promised. it turned out ok, but not as good as my previous attempts. i substituted wheat for the all-purpose flour, and it did not turn out as good. lesson learned. but...movie/pizza fridays are a hit. at least with me. i like having something to plan and look forward to, even if it's a simple night at home.

also made some somoa blondies (recipe coming soon). yes, like the girl scout cookie. ok, now seriously. i have to stop baking things. i have to cut down my sugar consumption. seriously. starting tomorrow.

went on some long walks in some 70 degree weather. i never realize how cooped up i've been until i finally get outside. i think baby n. felt the same, because he's actually been enjoying his stroller again, and loves getting out into the fresh air. my vocal boy gets silent and wide-eyed taking in all of the scenery.

went to the galleria mall, to my favorite store and picked up some new favorite stretchy workout pants (a vday gift from my love). i live in these things. i don't know what it is about dallas and its malls, but they're all huge, most have ice-skating rinks, and they're always packed. we got in and got out. even before i could pick up an auntie anne's pretzel. sigh.

baby n. decided that he wasn't into napping this weekend. boy, did we try to get him there though. i'm exhausted just thinking about it. but on the flip side, he's sleeping in 3-4 hour stretches now, rather than waking up every hour (aren't you jealous?). yay. and knock on wood.

i leave you with a shot of our boy socializing at the little gym. the instructor kind of dotes on him. not that i blame him.

happy monday. xo.
