happy weekend, happy labor day

{image found here}
the husband and i are taking off for the weekend. getting out of the city, out of the smog, and heading to st. george to meet up with the price and skipper lovebirds. me plus five die hard byu fans...yikes. apparently, a big game this weekend. should be interesting. i'm coming armed with lots of red clothing and a good book. lovely lynlee is pregnant with her first, so i plan on hovering around her belly all weekend, talking to the little wee and trying to become her favorite, unofficial, non-blood related aunt. probably going to make her these cookies to give me a head start. pregnant mama's deserve treats. and since i'm going to be so close to salt lake, i can imagine all my utah friends will want to be heading south to see me for the weekend...right, right? just think about it.

also thinking about making some sweet chex mix for a road trip treat...remember how yummy that stuff is? any one have a good recipe?

happy birthday to mama campbell tomorrow, the best mother in the world. i can rarely do anything without her, and don't even want to try. i love you so so much mom.

happy labor day folks. much peace and love.

xo.

Cassidy Daybell has an AMAZING recipe for chex mix. But beware...it's highly addictive and you tend to eat at all in about 3 minutes. Call or email her. I can't believe you're going to St. George. So close yet so far away :(

Ha ha oh my gosh you are SO cute! I won't lie, I got a little teary eyed reading your post. I told Nate I was going to have you feel her kick when I saw you, but as you know, she wasn't giving me any action all weekend. She has however been kicking a lot since we've been home. Typical! She's going to love you!!

What you were in St. George? I am so sorry I suck at calling you back. I hope you had a nice time. I'm so sorry I missed your adorable face. I'll call you tonight to hear all about it.
